Muiredge Primary and Nursery have a very active Parent Council. We meet on a Monday evening, within the school, once or twice a term. All parents are invited and warmly welcomed to join the school parent council and have their views heard. Our Purpose and Role is to:
- To promote and celebrate the contribution of the school within the local community.
- To work in partnership to create a welcoming school that is inclusive for all parents and pupils.
- To promote partnership between staff, pupils and parents to improve and develop learning.
- To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils through fundraising and social activities.
- To identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
- To report to parents on the activities of the Parent Council in an informative and timely manner.
Keep an eye on the school app to find out when we are next meeting and we would be delighted if you could join us.
